i am really sorry for leaving suddenly and not posting anything for such a long time....I know i have been hiding everything and i must say everything now
the real truth was that i had been transfered to a city called Baku in Azerbaijan my father had to work there....so first of all we moved there...then we were busy setting the house,going to school and etc then i due to our reasons we are back to India so we had to come back and again set everything
very soon i had my exams and now finally i have done with my exams and i have holidays
sooo i want to resume blogging again
unfortunately it seems chickapoo_8 and joyce1503 have left stardoll and other writers are busy with there work so i really need around 3-4 writers to make the blog going

Unfair spring promo!

I wrote the following letter to Stardoll this morning. I have spent a lot of stardollars since the start of the spring promotion and have not gotten the interior. In the meantime, I have gone to the page of some of the "winners" and have not seen a spring interior yet. Does anyone have one showing in her suite? Please post in my comments if you do.

The unfairness of your new spring promo makes it not a lot of fun. I like getting free stuff. But I do not like not getting the free stuff I really want. I would like the spring interior. Your promo page says I have a chance to get it.

But that seems to be a lie.

I think the game is rigged. Most of the interior winners are not even superstars, all seem to be under 18. I have yet to see an interior actually in a suite of any of my friends, or anyone else I have visited.

I didn't even get the pink ruffle dress though I keep getting shoes and tshirts. I had to buy the pink ruffle dress in the bazaar. There is no way to buy an interior in the bazaar. It has to be "won."

I have sent an image showing you what I have gotten. It is pretty obvious I am a good customer.

If there were any fairness to this promo, I would have an interior by now. But I do not. That makes me unhappy. And resentful.

I would think that having a promotion to encourage spending would be designed to make your best customers happy. There is something wrong with this picture.

The impression your ad gave at first made it seem like after a person spent a certain amount of stardollars they would get an interior. But that is not true.

Please fix this. I would like the spring interior. Of course I have no power to do anything about if I don't get one. But I will continue to feel resentment. And that is not a good thing.

PS I'm sure there are lots of other stardolls who feel the same way I do, but have not taken the time to write about it. What is wrong with your company that you do not seem to care about the people who spend the most on your site? Make us unhappy enough and we will leave. And all you will have left are the freeloaders and scammers. You would make less money, and probably go out of business. It is good business sense to be most generous to your paying customers. So please get your heads out of the sand.

Tuesday's Top 5 Tips:

1. To make your album a little less boring, once you've saved the doll you have just dressed up, write their name and either a little bit about them or why you picked this outfit. Always finsihed it off with a couple of flowers round the edges so it's not all plain text.

2. Enter as many competitions in the Stardoll magazine. Do this every time something new appears, then, forget about them. The competitions you enter the more likly you'll win something!

3. Before you buy a item of clothing, get some of the clothes you already own and try them on together. Find an outfit that fits together with your new clothes. So you don't have to buy a whole new outfit or even have a item that doesn't go with anything.

4. Before you buy an item, check the price and see if there is one similair but cheaper around. Maybe even something that you could make look the same. This will save you money but you'll still look stylish!

5. Look out for new things coming into the Starplaza. You never know if Stardoll might have accidentally made them free!

Stardoll Rip Off - Literally!

As I was browsing the shoe section (lol) I saw this:

Do you recognise the shoes?

Well I did a bit of research and have found out Stardoll has created yet another twin...but one that is cheaper and non-superstar. Total rip off for the people who have bought this superstar one.

My advice would be, check what your buying before you do. There might be a cheaper one somewhere. Or a twin that looks slightly different but cheaper!!!

Upcoming new features

There are some exciting new features coming to stardoll. A company insider told me they are working on a party suite chat! Imagine having up to five friends partying in your suite. Maybe that is why chat has been down this last week.

Another new feature is being able to sell items for up to 500 Stardollars. That should start soon. It already is discussed in the help section. I think 15% commission is high, but Stardoll needs to make money.

I keep asking for Stardoll to set up a way to have safe trading. This is a step in the right direction. I hope the website continues to improve. In the meantime, play nice.

The competition is Fierce at MyProjectRunway. We started our first season with 12 designers. The idea was to use Stardesign and have our own competition. Just like the show, after each challenge, one design is in, and one is out.

Our last challenge had a halloween theme. Each design was saved in my album. Each contestant was assigned a number instead of a name. Guest judges made comments and gave each design a numerical score.

After judging, the scores were totalled. The designer with the highest score was in. And one designer was told "Auf Wiedersehen."

Only five designers are left. Things are only going to get more fierce. This is going to be our most difficult challenge yet.

Some would argue that all fashion is illusion. In this challenge, designers have been asked to create a high fashion look incorporating a certain kind of optical illusion.

Each one-of-a-kind look must incorporate the technique know as Trompe I'oeil. In english it is also called trick of the eye. Trompe I'oeil is a technique in painting that creates such a strong illusion of reality that the viewer may not at first be sure whether the thing depicted is real or a representation. An excellent example of this is the magazine cover where Demi Moore seems to be wearing a suit, but she is actually wearing just body paint. Each designer must create at least one custom stardesign garment that uses this technique. She may create a custom background to help support the illusion. The rest of the pieces can come from her closet, the starplaza or the starbazaar. The total look as well as the illusion will be judged. That will include makeup, hair and accessories as well as clothing.

Judges and Guest Judges will post constructive comments and the contestant with the lowest score will be eliminated, just like in the show. The one with the highest score will get a prize. The remaining contestants will move on to the next challenge.

Hi there,you all must be realizing that i am not able to post much nowadays and this is bcause i am having some problem in my real life
My dear writers are busy with there work and as a result news are not published on time

Most of our festivals have mythiological singnificancediwali is known as the festival of lights so everywhere there is livelliness and lightsthe mythological significance is about our main god who was lord ramathis is the story of ramayana.it is said that lord rama had 3 more brothers and he was the eldest of all....he rules a kingdom called ayodhaya.But one day he was forced to go to exile with his wife sita and brother lakshan.There they lived for 14 years and came across a demon named ravana who troubled everyone and kindaped his wife sita.then lord rama with the help of hanuman the monkey god killed ravana.the day when ravana was killed is known as dashera and the day when lord rama returned back to his kingdom is known as diwaliDuring this time schools are closed.People gift there friends and relatives many gifts.New clothes are purchased.Houses are renovated.All workers are given bonus money.so the whole of india is very lively...people shopping for themselves and friends-family 2 days before diwali is dhanteras dhan means wealth and on this day people buy gold,silver etc depending on their affordibilty then on diwali day worship is done using this gold with lord ganesh and goddess saraswati they both are the gods of wealth (lord ganesh is displayed in my room)people also light candles,diyas,lightings and burst firecrackers and also put indian lanterns

we renovate and decorate our houses as we beleive that goddess lashmi and lord ganesh come to our houses to bless us .People also buy indian sweets and other indian eatables to gift and eat themselves to enjoy This day is celebrated on different dates every year as hindu calender depends on moon phases but it normally occurs in octoberMy stardoll room has an idol of lord ganesh with lotz of flowers and fruits to offer him.also there are candles (sorry could not buy diyas) and there is a carpet whcih is actually a rangoli A rangoli is a design made up of colour powders with glitters.The design is very ethinic and indian kind of.it can also be made with flowers or legumins and then we light candles or diyas in the middle or on sidesto see how a real rangoli look on google just type rangolidiwali is also hindu new year (but normally people celebrate 31st december as new year)

UPDATE: stardoll responded again...we cant promise but we can try doing something for diwali and they launched diyas!!!!!...lets see if something else is yet to come for this auspicious occasion

I tried contacting stardoll and requested them to launch some diwali items like diyas,candles,lanterns,firecrackers etc etc but they replyed that they would have loved to but there is no time...i was kinda annoyed but it was ok but today i saw that stardoll launched something special for diwali and that is a scenery competion I am glad i did something this diwali for indians on stardoll
